Maroon Anemone
The maroon anemone is amongst those in a group classified as the stinging animals. They have a simple soft body with two major tissue layers arranged around a central gut cavity. The maroon anemone is common on rocks just below the low tide line from northern Florida throughout the Caribbean and Bermuda.This anemone does not have a muscular system. It is usually stationed in one place and sustains life by other fish etc. coming to feed off of it. This species does not have a muscular system.
